Rebalancing is a crucial strategy in investment management that involves adjusting the weightings of assets in a portfolio to maintain the desired asset allocation and minimize risk. In this article, we will explore what rebalancing is and provide a step-by-step guide on how to enable it for your portfolio.
Please note that rebalancing functionality is available only for premium users. Enabling auto-rebalancing ensures that your portfolio stays aligned with your investment strategy and helps you maintain your desired asset allocation over time.
To enable rebalancing, follow these steps:
Option 1:
Go to the Credentials Details page.
Click on the [Manage Allocation] button in the Portfolio section.
In the popup window that appears, toggle the "Auto-rebalancing" switch to activate it.
After activating auto-rebalancing, you need to enter the deviation parameter (the percentage at which the automatic rebalancing mechanism is triggered). By default, it is set to 1. You can set the desired percentage within the range of 1 to 100.
Option 2:
Go to the Investment page.
Click on the button with gear icon in the Allocation widget.
Wait for the Manage Allocation pop-up to open.
Repeat step 3 and 4 of Option 1.
Conclusion:
Rebalancing is an essential practice for maintaining the desired asset allocation in your investment portfolio. By enabling auto-rebalancing, you can ensure that your portfolio stays aligned with your investment strategy over time. Remember to regularly review and adjust your rebalancing settings as needed. With this guide, you can take advantage of this powerful feature and optimize your portfolio for long-term success.
