Connecting or Disconnecting Telegram: A Step-by-Step Guide

In this article, we will walk you through the process of connecting or disconnecting your Telegram account. Telegram integration provides seamless communication and updates between our platform and your Telegram app, ensuring you stay connected and about your trading activities.

Connecting Telegram:

  1. Go to your Profile: Click on the avatar in the upper right corner and select Profile.

  2. Locate the Telegram Widget: In the profile section, look for the Telegram widget. It is typically positioned below or adjacent to your avatar. The widget displays relevant information about your Telegram integration.

  3. Click on the link [@ioDarkbot]: Within the Telegram widget, click on the link that mentions @ioDarkbot. This will open a new window or redirect you to the Telegram app.

  4. Open Telegram: Once the new window opens, click on the "Open relegram desktop app" button to open telegram app.

  5. Open Telegram and click [Start]: Once the Telegram app opens, click on the "Start" button to start our bot.

  6. Copy the Activation Code: After starting, our bot will provide you with an activation code. Save this code.

  7. Paste the Activation Code: Return to the Darkbot profile page and locate the field labeled "Activation code" within the Telegram widget. Paste the copied activation code into this field and click [Connect Telegram] button.

  8. Wait for Telegram Connection: After pasting the activation code, wait for the platform to establish the connection with Telegram. You will notice a change in the status within the Telegram widget, indicating a successful connection. The status should change to "Connected."

    You should also receive a notification in the Telegram app that the account has been successfully connected

  9. Send a Test Message (Optional): To verify the Telegram connection, you can click on the "Send test message" button within the Telegram widget. This will send a test message to your Telegram account, confirming that the integration is working correctly.

Disconnecting Telegram:

  1. Go to your Profile: Click on the avatar in the upper right corner and select Profile.

  2. Find the Telegram Widget: In the profile section, locate the Telegram widget. It is typically positioned below or adjacent to your avatar. The widget displays relevant information about your Telegram integration.

  3. Click on [Disconnect]: Within the Telegram widget, click on the link labeled [Disconnect]. This will initiate the disconnection process.

  4. Wait for Telegram Disconnection: After initiating the disconnection, wait for the Darkbot to sever the connection with Telegram. The status within the Telegram widget will change to "Disconnected," indicating a successful disconnection.

    You should also receive a notification in the Telegram app that the account has been successfully disconnected.
